Messier 110 is the upcoming NFT collection based on the Messier Catalog from AstroCAT. It contains one of the most recognizable and admired deep-sky imaging targets amongst astrophotographers worldwide. Consisting of 110 objects as cataloged by Charles Messier at the end of the 18th century, the famous set of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters are one the most sought-after targets in the astronomy community.
Each object has a naming designation from M1 to M110. Some are very well known, such as the Andromeda galaxy, Orion nebula and Pleiades. Others are distant galaxies and star clusters. The artistic renditions of these deep-space objects will be a unique and special collector’s set for astrophotographers.
Each Messier NFT will be based on an ESA/Hubble image, but will be artistically moulded into a seamless collection and fully accredited as per CC BY 4.0.
Once minted, AstroCAT will be donating 10% of the NFT minting fees to a charitable astronomy organization (chosen by a vote).
Each M110 token will be redeemable for 1 Messier DSO (deep-space object) NFT, as soon as the Chia NFT standard is formalized. To submit an offer, use the form below. In addition, you can view available offers on offerbin.io. Initial M110 token price is 1 XCH per token. Have any questions? Visit AstroCAT's discord and twitter channels.
